Speak. Write. Motivate.

Don Alley is an entrepreneur, athlete, musician, speaker, writer, marketer, and is always on the move. And if you can catch him, he will give you his undivided attention.

Owner/operator of Super Kicks Karate in Ashburn, VA and his school has been described by industry leaders as one of the most successful schools in the country based on his enrollment numbers. He is currently building a bench of new instructors, positioning his school to open additional locations in the Northern Virginia area.

Don is also the owner and co-founder of Center Stage Preschool, a Montessori-approach, theater arts child care facility in Ashburn, VA. Currently there is one location, it has been open for only seven months, and is completely full with a waiting list. Don created Center Stage under the mindset of hiring the best people to run the company, versus being the main guy in charge. Plans are in place for many more operations. Don has always said he has a billion dollar company on the inside of him…and this is it.

He continually takes acting classes and writing classes, honing his craft to be a better storyteller for marketing, as well as having the right look and skill set to act on camera. Though he says he would walk away from everything for the right gig in Hollywood, acting has given him a unique ability to perform, and engage his audience with the commercials and videos he makes for his own companies, as well as for those who hire him to do the same.

Don has a unique ability to market and sell, and train his staff how to do the same. He regularly speaks and trains staff for other companies, and has partnerships in other membership-based businesses.

He has been training in martial arts for over 28 years. He began competing in local karate tournaments when he was 8 years old, and from 1997-2001, he competed nationally and internationally in the NBL (National Black Belt League). Don was highly ranked each year that he fought on the national circuit, and in 2001, won the world championships in the super heavyweight division in continuous fighting.

Don currently has his sights on competing in an Ironman competition in the fall of 2018. He began training for sprint tris in the fall of 2015, completed 4 sprint events and 1 internationnal in 2016. In 2017, he plans to compete in 4 internationals and finish the season with a half Ironman, and spend all of 2018 preparing for the grueling Ironman race. He already has the Ironman tattoo picked out for his calf. It’s badass.

Athlete. Musician.

Health and nutrition have always been important to him, and he attributes much of his energy to his diet and exercise regimen, and encourages others to take a strong look at their health, make changes, and live longer, healthier lives.

Don has played the violin for as long as he has practiced martial arts, and has played in different local and regional orchestras and symphonies since he was in middle school. He started when he was 7 years old, and his very first violin teacher also became his private tutor as an adult. In recent years, he has been hired to play at weddings, and the last performance he had was playing for his mother when she married the love of her life.
